I
don't know about you but every fall season - I get in the
"de-cluttering" mood! I want to clean the house, have a yard
sale, and tidy up all the closets!
This week I've
been doing some shopping online, and wanted to share a few ideas
with you on how to bring in some extra $$ - while cleaning your
house!
Now you don't have to sell stuff in your front yard! There are so
many auctions online, that all you need to do is; find a site, fill
in the information, and wait for someone to buy your item!
Example: At most yard sales, jeans are priced from .25 - $2.
This week I bought some Tommy Hilfiger & Jnco jeans for the
kids for $3.20 - $6.20.
These jeans retail from $45 - $65 per pair (which I will not pay),
so I got a great deal! The seller is also getting far more than
they would in any yard sale, so this has worked out well for both
of us!
You don't really have any expenses! The buyer pays the shipping
fees & the post office gives you boxes & mailing materials
FREE! Most auctions charge a very small %, but usually only if you
sell the item! They will even take credit cards for you &
deposit the money into your account if you wish! One of the
companies that gives this service on ebay.com is - Paypal. They
will give you $5 FREE to start out your account - PLUS $5 for each
person you tell about the service!
A site called auction.com tracks a huge list of auction sites!
Here you will be able to find MANY places to sell your stuff!
* Keep an eye open for good deals at stores & yard sales.
You can resell these items for a nice profit!
A gentleman here bought a tapestry for $100 at a local auction. He
placed it up for bid online & an armored truck came to his
house with almost half a million $$!
Hey - you never know!
Get rid of that stuff & make some extra money - you might start
to like it!
