My kitchen refuse contains mostly vegetable peels or sometimes, a little decayed parts of vegetables or fruits. Can the compost be prepared from cooked kitchen waste, like cooked grains or cereals or vegetables? How much space do i require?

I have several compost piles as well as as a regular drum com-poster. I throw all kitchen scraps, except meat on the pile. This attracts animals! I put grass clippings, dried leaves, prunings, and scraps in a pile and water and turn every now and then. After everything decays and
kind of looks and smells sort of earthy, put it on your gardens.
The area you need depends of how much scraps you have.
